Ajax ANSI Player
ANSI art is a type of computer art most famously used during the Bullettin Board Service years of the Internet. It’s like ASCII art, but uses a larger set of 256 letters, numbers, and symbols, and therefore is more flexible in what it can do. ANSI art has become less popular through the years due to the decline of BBS systems.
Meph has created a ANSI Art viewer that draws ANSI files to a HTML5 canvas. All the decoding is done client-site in JavaScript. Computed ANSI files can be saved PNGs.

With this demo Meph has provided a large number of sample ANSI files for you to try and play around with.

Full of advert spam that appears over the top of the art so you can’t see anything for more than a few seconds before you’re spammed over again.

Agree with the other post too much spam which annoyingly goes over the top of the artwork. How is this usable??
