Tom Theisen has created this rather pretty ’spread’ pattern demo using the canvas element. The demo, which has a rather organic vine-like feel to it, has options to cycle colours, change the position where the pattern originates and to fade older patterns.

Reuniting with the bed

When the grape vines go into their second season of dormancy (second winter) select
a cane from last year’s growth that has turned woody, is
at least as big around as a pencil and that is long
enough to reach the top of the trellis. Perhaps the best visualization, however,
may be seen in the graphic by Richard Powell, shown below.
With that in mind, though, most of the food you buy
at the grocery store should not have a label.
