Firefox 3.5 Download Stats
Unless you’ve just come back from holiday, you won’t have been able to help but to have noticed that Mozilla have released Firefox 3.5, with a host of new features including better canvas support. Each release of Firefox seems to be accompanied by a larger amount of hype over the number of downloads and Firefox 3.5 is no exception.
For this release, Mozilla have created “Worldwide Realtime Download Stats” – a page which uses the canvas element not once but twice.
Lots of people downloading Firefox 3.5
Both the map and individual trend charts are created using canvas and are updated in real time.
